Hi, I'm Rani - a journalist committed to amplifying diverse and underrepresented voices, connecting audiences to parts of the world they would otherwise be unable to reach.
The Solutions Journalism Without Borders program I completed in Guatemala, demonstrated my focus on high-impact reporting, where young girls in Guatemala who are survivors of sexual violence and trafficking represent the community's most silenced voices.
I'm set to graduate from RMIT University with my Bachelor of Journalism in November, with over three years of practical experience spanning broadcast, print, social media and podcasting.
This includes being shortlisted as a Finalist for the Kennedy Foundation's 7News Kennedy Scholarship.
I am currently interning at ABC Perth in News, along with Worley as a communications and public relations intern.
