About Me

After taking a gap year and travelling post school, I moved from Perth to Melbourne at the beginning of 2023 to commence a Bachelor of Communications (Journalism) at RMIT. I'm set to graduate in November this year.

In June I spent four weeks in Guatemala, completing Solutions Journalism Without Borders - a solutions journalism study abroad program with a focus on mini and micro-documentary making. Through this program, I delivered a micro-documentary accompanied by a solutions-article on a local baking program helping rebuild the independence of child and adolescent survivors of sexual violence and trafficking.

I am currently interning at Worley as a communications and public relations intern in the Media team, working closely with the Corporate Affairs team.

I'm also undertaking an internship in communications at RM Consulting Group (RMCG), with a focus on business communications and external project promotion.

Moving interstate without family or a home base has strengthened my independence, and encouraged me to throw myself into all kinds of new experiences to help me figure out areas of journalism I'm really interested in. This has looked like hosting community radio shows, competing in public speaking events, and participating in mentorship programs.
